Dungeon-Crawler Visual Novel ‘Danmachi Infinite Combate’ Launches Arcade Shmup DLC for Free
PQube announced that the Mages-developed RPG Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? – Infinite Combate has received new DLC for all players.
The DLC adds a shmup style mini-game to the title, which was once exclusive to Japan as part of a bonus for a limited time only. The DLC is available for free for all players across all platforms and doesn’t have an expiration date.
Additionally, players won’t even need to own Danmachi Infinite Combate to play the game. During the mini-game, players assume the role of Aiz with one of five support characters. She then runs through dungeons shooting down enemies and collecting power-ups. There are five stages available and four different difficulty settings.
Danmachi Infinite Combate is set in a fantasy world where gods have lent their divine powers to the world, and those beneath them have to pledge their allegiance to their strength. Humans who fight on behalf of a god make up what is known as a Familia who each support each other in a dungeon known as, well, Dungeon.
One adventurer, Bell Cranel, finds himself being the only member of the Hestia Familia, and this is where players will find themselves.
The gameplay is a mix of dungeon crawling and RPG mechanics where players will follow the story and then journey through the labyrinth to pick up treasure and complete the mission. Modes in the game include Store Mode, Extra Dungeons, and Date Events.
