Danganronpa-Inspired Mystery Game ‘Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue’ Reveals In-Game Preview; Harrison & Mia

Aksys Games has shared a new trailer for the upcoming Dreamloop Games-developed mystery adventure Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue. The game’s protagonist, Harrison, meets and interacts with one of the many individuals he’s stranded with, Mia. The two briefly discuss their strange circumstances. 

Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue tells the story of a group of people who have just arrived on a strange island. During their stay, there are no rules or laws for the contestants, and they are only tasked with surviving and to also entertain the viewers watching via Dark Web TV. The game’s narrative explore human nature and how far people will go for social clout, wealth, and their own desires.

The gameplay features multiple narrative paths based on choices made by the player during gameplay. Each member of the cast has a unique personality and backstory that details what led them to the show. There are hours of recorded voiced-acted dialogue for the characters and a soundtrack with music by Zero Escape’s Shinji Hosoe and Matias Lehtoranta.

Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in Fall 2023.
