Damon and Baby mixes twin-stick shooting with structured exploration, splitting its gameplay into two core phases. You’ll spend downtime at a home base upgrading the demon king Damon and preparing for combat, then head out into the field to push the story forward by clearing stages packed with enemies and hidden weapons.
Combat leans on both close-range and long-range options, with handguns, machine guns, and other weapons that you can swap and expand as you progress. Boss fights focus on using the stage layout to your advantage, incorporating specific environmental mechanics and positioning.
As Damon levels up, you’ll be able to tailor your skills to match how you want to fight. The game also includes visual customization through different outfit options. For local co-op, a second player can take control of Baby, Damon’s dog-like companion, who helps out in combat and can collect items across each level.
Damon and Baby is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
