Otome Visual Novel ‘Dairoku: Agents of Sakuratani’ Gets Switch Release Date in the West

Aksys Games announced that the Idea Factory-developed otome visual novel Dairoku: Agents of Sakuratani will launch on Nintendo Switch on December 2, 2021.

A new trailer was released showing in-game CGs along with a preview of the handsome boys that players can interact with throughout the story.

Dairoku tells the story of a young girl called Akitsu Shino, though her name can be changed if the player wants. When she passes a test to become a government agent, she ends up in a special division that deals with supernatural events. In fact, she has to move to another dimension and work in a town called Sakuratani.

There she’ll meet otherworldly individuals and monitor the interdimensional relationships. She’ll also be able to get to know some of those spirits and yokai more closely. Those include the oni Akuroou (CV: Suzuki Tatsuhisa), the tengu Hira (CV: Kobayashi Yuusuke), the fox spirit Shiratsuki (CV: Sakurai Takahiro), the snake spirit Shuu (CV: Oosaka Ryouta) and even her senpai (CV: Toyonaga Toshiyuki).

Characters are designed by Suoh, who also worked on Bad Apple Wars. The story is by Mizzochi Hatoko and it’s directed by Yukisawa Riku. The opening theme, Oyozuregoto, is sung by Toyonaga Toshiyuki.
