Cytus α Coming Physically and Digitally to the West for Nintendo Switch

PM Studios and acttil announced that Rayark developed rhythm game Cytus α will launch on Nintendo Switch in North America this April as a physical and digital release.

As an added bonus, players who purchase the retail version of the game on Switch will receive a CD soundtrack with music from [Chapter Ω]. Additionally, the publisher released a new trailer teasing the game’s rhythm atmosphere and tone.

Cytus α is an immersive rhythm game that blends story with over 200 playable tracks that vary in genre and speed. Additionally, throughout the game players will notice that some tracks even have rearranged versions that they can experience. Additionally, the Nintendo Switch version of the game has a new user interface to work with the Switch hardware and online leaderboards. This version of the game will also include tracks from Cytus Ω.

The game also has a story that players will be able to interact with over the course of the game.

The original Cytus is available now on iOS and Android devices.

Author’s take: This a game that I have to play, as a fan of the other titles from this developer I’m glad to see it come west.
