Cygames has announced their free-to-play competitive card game Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, which is set to launch for PC and mobile devices via iOS and Android in Summer 2024.
This sequel will feature more advanced card battles and new content with revamped mechanics. The new Super Evolution mechanic instills further distinction, with it “available from the second player’s 6th turn onwards. Up to 2 remaining EP (evolution points) will turn into SEP (super evolution points).”
The main classes are comprised of Forestcraft, Swordcraft, Runecraft, Dragoncraft, Abysscraft, Havencraft, Portalcraft, and Neutral. Additionally, the revealed main characters are Dreizehn of the Portalcraft Class and Lovesign of the Forestcraft Class.
Another significant in-game feature is world traversal as an avatar, with various activities stated to be possible aside from card battles.
