Cyberpunk Action Parkour Title ‘Ghostrunner’ Gets a Free Update, Paid DLC and a Switch Physical Edition

Co-Publishers 505 Games & All In! Games alongside developers One More Level, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks have introduced various new content for their hit first-person cyberpunk action parkour title, Ghostrunner.

Firstly, a free update has launched for the title that includes Kill Run Mode. This mode contains harsh time-centric goals and Dharma Tower’s greatest challenge. Players can attempt to slice and dice through enemies and progress through the areas in a timely and efficient manner. Leaderboard implementation has been added, and a Photo Mode that players can use to capture the stylistic visuals this title boasts.

Console players have now received aim assist for the grappling hook, an adjustable field-of-view (FOV) slider, and the newly added, framerate-boosting Performance Mode on PS4 Pro.

PC players can now enjoy significantly reducing system latency with supported graphics cards.

The paid DLC includes the Metal Ox Pack, which celebrates the Year of the Ox by granting players four new swords and gloves modeled after Confucian principles and virtues; Benevolence, Justice, Rite, Integrity. This DLC is priced at $4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99 when purchased as a standalone product. Additionally, the Keymaster Bundle on Steam, which includes the game proper, the Winter Pack, and the Metal Ox Pack, is temporarily 10%off.

Lastly, the newly revealed Nintendo Switch version of the title will include every update since last year’s digital launch, including performance and stability improvements, control refinements, and upgraded graphics. This edition is launching on June 25 in Europe and June 29 in the U.S.

Ghostrunner is currently released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.

Ghostrunner is also releasing for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this year, with a free upgrade available for owners of the PS4 or Xbox One versions.
