Roguelike Action Game ‘Curse of the Dead Gods’ Gets Early Access Release Date and New Gameplay Trailer

Focus Home Interactive announced that the Passtech Games-developed roguelike action title, Curse of the Dead Gods, will launch on PC-via Steam Early Access on March 3, 2020.

Curse of the Dead Gods will be tasked with venturing deep into seemingly-infinite labyrinths of bottomless pits to seek out treasure and look. Evidently, it’s rumored that eternal life can found in this tomb, but you’ll just have to avoid the traps, monsters, and deities to find it. Players will collect relics and an arsenal of weapons as they make their way through the cavern.

“At the start of EA, players will have access to what can be considered as about a third of the final content in production,” said Sylvain Passot, CEO at Passtech Games. “However, since each game is different with a large share of randomness, there is a lot to discover in this first segment. Curse of the Dead Gods is a modular game with great replayability, and we believe that early access will make the most of it!”

The team plans to launch the Early Access with a roadmap of updates they plan to implement into the game. This will change based on player feedback, but players can expect, new temples to explore, new game modes, weapons, enemies, and items.

Curse of the Dead Gods will be showcased at this year’s PAX East from February 27 to March 1 at the Focus Home Interactive booth (#29017).
