‘Curse of the Dead Gods’ x ‘Dead Cells’ Crossover Event Releasing Next Week

Focus Home Interactive and Passtech Games have partnered with Motion Twin and Evil Empire for a crossover titled “Curse of the Dead Cells”. This crossover event features two recent, successful rogue-likes, Curse of the Dead Gods and Dead Cells.

You can read about this crossover event’s advertised features below:

  • New Curse — Curse of the Headless: Players will move faster but take more damage, with a visual twist emblematic of Dead Cells’ main character.
  • Three New Weapons: The Sword of Conjunctivius, the Broadsword of the Knight, and the Crossbow of the Condemned.
  • New Challenge Room that can be found during runs featuring a Dead Cells Cursed Chest, a special challenge, and a rare weapon.

This update will also grant players of Curse of the Dead Gods a new two-handed weapon style, a new Curse, and more.

The free update, including this crossover event, will be playable in Curse of the Dead Gods and will release on April 14.

Curse of the Dead Gods is available to play on PlayStation4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

In Curse of the Dead Gods, players will venture deep into the dark halls of ancient temples filled with deadly horrors and divine riches. The player character grows through experiencing run after run, unlocking difficult modes, and numerous legendary weapons to defy the gods and wield their powers.
