Roguelike Cooking Game ‘Cuisineer’ Now Available on PC; Release Trailer & Launch Week Discount
XSEED Games has announced that the BattleBrew Productions-developed roguelike cooking game Cuisineer is now available on PC via Steam.
A 10% launch week discount is available for the standard and Digital Deluxe editions, with the latter including an artbook and soundtrack that are also available for purchase separately.
Cuisineer follows Pom after receiving a letter from her parents that asks to see her one last time. She rushes home but finds they’ve vanished, leaving their restaurant abandoned. So, she picks up her tools and gets to work. Armed with a spatula, Pom must venture through dungeons and gather ingredients to cook dishes for customers. Over 100 dishes are featured, and players will be able to customize their kitchen as they delight more and more customers.
Players will explore four biomes heavily differing in aesthetics and items as they gather countless ingredients. Additionally, the implementation of procedural generation will alter the layouts, enemy camps, and obtainable ingredients of each biome, truly diversifying each hunger-filled adventure.
Combat features “Salty, Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Umami, Frosty, and Toasty powers that unleash flame, poison, chain lightning” effects, as well as weapon utensils like the “like Spatula, Smackerel, Swordfish, and Tenderiser.”
