Aksys Games has announced it will publish Cthulhu Mythos ADV: Lunatic Whispers & The Isle of Ubohoth in the West this holiday for Switch, with additional platforms to be announced at a later date.
The collection first launched in Japan for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch in October 2025. Both titles were previously released individually for PC and mobile devices.
The games feature visual-novel storytelling with tabletop RPG mechanics, using dice rolls, character abilities, and luck to determine choices.
In Lunatic Whispers, players awaken in an abandoned hospital with no memory. They must gather clues, manage their sanity, and rely on randomized character stats to survive. There are seven endings, with additional story unlocked by maintaining a high sanity level.
The Isle of Ubohoth is set on an island in Japan’s Seto Inland Sea, where an urban legend about an 88-temple pilgrimage hides a darker secret. After becoming cursed, the protagonist must investigate the island, solve puzzles, and manage hunger as they explore before an ancient deity is resurrected.
The second game also features customizable protagonist stats and appearance, map exploration, timed dice-roll challenges, and a cast of fully voiced characters.
