Crystar (Switch) Receives Story Trailer Emphasizing The Main Cast’s Strife

Publisher NIS America has shared a new trailer for the upcoming Nintendo Switch release of Crystar, coming to Nintendo Switch on March 29, 2022, in North America and April 1, 2022, in Europe.

This trailer highlights the title’s heartwrenching narrative. Each central cast member is enduring severe strife, inducing tears empowering their battle capabilities. Speaking of the main cast, they each receive fleeting moments of limelight in this video. Additionally, brief combat footage is shown with character-specific special skills.

Crystar is an action RPG that has players assume the role of Rei Hatada, who is trying to revive her dead younger sister Mirai Hatada. Evidently, she makes a deal with the devil and must now fight the souls of those who have drifted into limbo.

The game revolves around the power of crying, which lends assistance to the characters and allows them to purify weapons and gain specific stat boosts. Enemies in the game will appear who must be defeated by crying and using the character’s lack of mental stability as a weapon. The Switch version will include all the DLC previously released.

Crystar is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam.
