Crystar Shares Switch Gameplay in Trailer With a Spring 2022 Release Window

NIS America released a new character for the FuRyu-developed RPG Crystarcoming to Nintendo Switch in Spring 2022.

The trailer highlights the main heroine Rei who is on a journey to save her sister at all costs. The trailer does give viewers a chance to see the game running on Switch hardware, but the gameplay window is rather small. However, this game isn’t known to be graphically taxing.

The Switch version will include all the DLC previously released.

Crystar is an action RPG that has players assume the role of Rei Hatada, who is trying to revive her dead younger sister Mirai Hatada. Evidently, she makes a deal with the devil and must now fight the souls of those who have drifted into limbo. The game revolves around the power of crying which lends assistance to the characters and allows them to purify weapons and gain certain stat boosts. Enemies in the game will appear who must be defeated by crying and using the character’s lack of mental stability as a weapon.

Crystar is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam.
