Color-Matching Combat Fighter ‘Crystal Crisis’ Gets PS4 and Switch Release Date
Nicalis announced that their color-matching competitive combat game Crystal Crisis will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2019.
Crystal Crisis has the look of a traditional fighting game, but instead of fighting, players must arrange falling crystals into matching colors to clear them from the screen and inflict attacks on their opponents. The game features a variety of crossover characters with a roster of 19 playable characters from across a variety of titles such as Cave Story, The Binding of Isaac, and others.
Additionally, Nicalis plans to bring their other titles, The End Is Nigh and Dungreed to PlayStation 4 in 2019, which are available now on Switch.
The publisher also released a new trailer showing a sizzle reel of their upcoming games.
Recently, the team published the Game Boy style platformer Save Me Mr Tako, which you can check out our review if you haven’t.

Author’s take: Nicalis is a really good publisher that I think deserves your attention. Furthermore, their physical game releases all show that they put a lot of love and care into their packaging. I’m excited about Crystal Crisis because other publishers seem to have forgotten how awesome these puzzle fighters are.
