Crytek has revealed a new installment in the Crysis series. Still in the early stages of development, Crysis 4 received a very simple teaser that doesn’t actually show pretty much anything on the game itself. More details, such as platforms or a release window, have not been announced yet.
Crytek released a remastered version of the currently available Crysis trilogy last year. This edition is out on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and even on Nintendo Switch. While known in the community for long being a major benchmark for potent hardware, the series is also made of very competent FPS entries.
According to Crytek, the community will have a hand in shaping this new entry. Their social media should be sharing more info on the game and how they plan to get the fans involved in the production later. What they’ve shared so far is that the upcoming Crysis 4 is planned to be a “truly next-gen shooter”.
