Insane Shoot ’em Up ‘The Game Paradise: CrusinMix Special’ Gets PS4 and PC Release Date

Degica Games announced that the over-the-top shoot ‘em up The Game Paradise: CrusinMix Special will launch digitally on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam on November 30. A limited physical run of the PlayStation 4 version has been announced by Limited Run Games.

The Game Paradise: CrusinMix Special is an updated version of The Game Paradise: CrusinMix containing new remixed tracks for all characters and a new Clarice bomb along with other gameplay updates. The game features six different playable ships and eight levels that are definitely tough to forget considering how many video game genres they parody.

Additionally, the game has online leaderboards, time attacks modes, and a data library with documents for developer Jaleco’s history.

The Game Paradise: CrusinMix was originally released in arcades in 1995, and consoles in 1997, the game’s developers have come back together to bring the game to PS4 and PC. Owners of The Game Paradise: CrusinMix will receive the Special update for free.

Author’s take: This game is adorable and I remember spending some time with it before, but the Special tagline is definitely reason enough to return to the game again and see what they’ve changed. It’s a good time if you enjoy silly shoot ‘em ups and retro graphics from a game that might have gone under your radar.
