Crunchyroll Manga Will Be Discontinued in December

Crunchyroll announced they will discontinue their Crunchyroll Manga service offered to Premium members on December 11, 2023, for both web and mobile platforms.

This will effectively remove the manga subscription option, but the company will still allow users to purchase manga from the Crunchyroll Store in the future. There are currently 17,000 manga titles available. That said, manga enthusiasts were getting quite a bit of content from having premium access to a large library of releases.

The company added in a statement, “We want to assure you that this is not the end of our journey together. We are constantly working on bringing you more content and products to enhance your anime experience. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to providing you with even more exciting experiences in the future!”

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on future announcements from Crunchyroll.
