Action RPG ‘CrossCode’ Announced for Switch With New Trailer
Deck13 announced that the Radical Fish Games developed action RPG CrossCode will launch on Nintendo Switch in 2019, along with the already announced PlayStation 4 version.
CrossCode features 16-bit graphics and tells the story of a character named Lea as travels through dungeons and fights hordes of enemies. The game boasts a large world with 7 areas and over 120 enemy types along with over 30 bosses. The game’s dungeons each have secrets and rewards for those that explore. Additionally, the action combat system features over 90 skill that players will learn over the game’s 100 quest story.
At this time, it doesn’t seem like anything will be added to the console version of the game, but with a 2019 release window, there’s still time. The game adds a challenge to players through puzzle design and battles that will put the player’s skills to the test, but with a variety of skills and equipment to choose from, the developer aims to give the player all that they need to get through any encounter.
CrossCode is available now on PC-via Steam.

Author’s take: This game has gotten some pretty high praise and I missed it on PC so I’ll plan to get the console version.
