Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Mod Adds Original PSP Cutscene Voice Acting

Final Fantasy VII fan Svenchu has created a new mod for the recently released Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion on PC that replaces the new English dub with the original PSP version’s voice acting. Although, it’s worth emphasizing that this alteration only applies to in-engine cutscenes, not combat or FMVs. The former change has been confirmed to be coming soon, however.

For those unaware, the new English voice acting for Reunion has been met with mixed reception, primarily regarding protagonist Zack Fair. So, those yearning to experience this remaster with the old voice actors’ audio can now do so. However, Svenchu has noted that a significant bug ceases all voice acting after the story completes in Banora Village during Chapter 2. They have stated that they are working on remedying this issue as soon as possible.
