Classic JRPG Love Letter ‘Cris Tales’ Gets New Video Showing Updates Based on Player Feedback

Modus Games released a new video for the Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK developed classic RPG Cris Tales coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in 2020.

The video is meant to address updates made to the game based on player feedback for the Steam demo, which is still available now. The 8-minute long trailer opens with a message from Dream Uncorporated CEO Carlos Rocha Silva who is excited to share the game with fans of the genre. He then handed off the video to Executive Producer Derek Neal who went over the updates that the team is planning on implementing.

Derek points out things that players seemed to really like as well as things that the team needs to address like audio recording issues. He also details updates that the team has planned such as turn order and time manipulation.

Cris Tales features hand-drawn 2D animations, which bring the world of the game to life with a handful of choices to be made that will alter the present and future of the game. Players can also dive into the games innovative combat that features a stylish turn-based style battle system where players can execute actions. The developer also added that the game will take around 20 hours to complete.
