Modus Games released a new video for the Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK developed adventure RPG, Cris Tales, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in 2020.
The video focuses on the protagonist, Crisbell, as she finds herself in the harbor of St. Clarity to investigate a disappearance. She then uses her power of time manipulation to travel to different points of time and speak with the townspeople. Her investigation leads her towards a battle where she’ll need to use her powers again to fight her way through.
Cris Tales features hand-drawn 2D animations, which bring the world of the game to life with a handful of choices to be made that will alter the present and future of the game. Players can also dive into the game’s innovative combat that features a stylish turn-based style battle system where players can execute actions. The developer also added that the game will take around 20 hours to complete.
Currently, the game has a free demo available on Steam and GOG so players can preview it now.
