Just Stop What You’re Doing and Watch the Beautiful Opening Cinematic for Cris Tales

Modus Games released the opening cinematic for the Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK-developed adventure RPG, Cris Tales, will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and PC-via Steam on July 20, 2021.

The movie gives players a look at each of the characters along with the antagonists of the story. It’s one of the prettiest opening cinematics that we’ve seen as the character designs largely represent what the in-game character models look like. There’s a contrast here as we see the colorful characters and the dark adventure that awaits them.

Cris Tales features hand-drawn 2D animations, which bring the world of the game to life with a handful of choices to be made that will alter the game’s present and future. Players can also dive into the game’s innovative combat that features a stylish turn-based style battle system where players can execute actions. The developer also added that the game would take around 20 hours to complete.
