The Season 1 content has been confirmed to include Ripper Roo and N. Gin as playable characters, a new map, a new power, and a new Limited Time Mode.
The game costs $29.99 for the Standard Edition and $39.99 for the Deluxe Edition. The former will include all of the aforementioned content and the Season 1 Premium Battle Pass, while the latter will also have the Season 2 Premium Battle Pass, as well as an instant unlock for Season 1’s content and other bonus material.
Seasonal events and limited-time modes are planned, though it’s emphasized that there will not be a single-player mode at launch. Further, an Activision account will be required to play the title.
Gameplay has players cooperate in gathering Wumpa fruit and scoring it in their respective goals while contending with the opposing team. Various powerups and other gimmicks can interfere with your efforts to collect the fruit, with stage terrain also playing a significant factor for experts who use it to their advantage.
