CORSAIR has launched its second-generation RMx SHIFT power supplies, now available in 750W, 850W, and 1000W capacities. The refreshed lineup keeps the standout side-mounted connector design but adds updated debossed-PVC cables, new low-profile cable combs, and native support for 12V-2×6 GPUs, including NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series cards. The power supply currently starts at 184.99 for the 850 Watts. The 750 Watts version is out of stock.
These fully modular PSUs are Cybenetics Gold certified and come with CORSAIR’s Type-5 Micro-Fit connectors. The updated cables are easier to route and look cleaner, with low-profile combs helping maintain airflow inside your case. That native 12V-2×6 cable handles up to 600W, and it’s designed to match the aesthetic of high-performance builds.
Internally, CORSAIR is sticking with 100% Japanese capacitors rated at 105°C. Efficiency ranges from 87% to 89%, and the units support ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. That means you’re covered for transient power spikes and modern standby features. The RMx SHIFT also uses a resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion to keep power delivery stable and efficient under varying loads.
Noise is kept to a minimum thanks to a 140mm fluid dynamic bearing fan, Cybenetics A-rated for acoustics. A rear-mounted fan speed knob gives you manual control, and Zero RPM mode shuts the fan off entirely under low to medium loads for near-silent performance.
