XSEED announced that the Team GrisGris developed indie horror Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient will launch on PC on October 23.
Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient is developed by the same indie team who worked on 2008’s Corpse Party. The game features top-down 3D graphics and dynamic lighting along with 360-degree control. The Japanese voice acting is included, and series composer Mao Hamamoto worked on the soundtrack.
Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient has players visit Amare Patriarcha Crucis, a seemingly abandoned hospital. Ayame awakens from a coma to find herself trapped. She then goes out to explore the halls and realizes that their might be others caught with her. Throughout her journey, she must solve inventory-based puzzles, collect medical charts, and avoid death by zombie-like pursuers. This is the first chapter in a new standalone story within the Corpse Party series. More chapters are planned to release from the developer in the future. Also, this version of Dead Patient is the definitive version features updates to the graphics and additional scenarios added in the Japanese version.
Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient will launch on PC-via Steam, GOG.com, and the Humble Store by Humble Bundle on October 23 for $9.99.
