Sci-Fi Visual Novel ‘Corona Blossom’ Sales 50,000 Copies
Frontwing announced that their science fiction visual series, Corona Blossom, has surpassed 50,000 copies sold, which is a tremendous accomplishment for a visual novel series, especially without an anime tie in.
To celebrate the milestone, the developer released a new illustration of R-ne, created by series designer nanaca mai.
Corona Blossom first released in 2016 in three volumes through 2017. Each entry of the series told a new chapter of R-ne, a space organism who takes the form a young girl. In her search to get back home, she meets a boy named Keiji, who takes her in to help her in any way that he can. Throughout the series, the group of friends his some speed bumps as there are other forces who wish to take advantage of R-ne, or even kill her.
Corona Blossom is mainly an all-ages visual novel, but there are extra chapters that players can download which feature some adult situations with the cast of female characters. Yes, Keiji ends up being sort of a love machine in the end.
