Control Ultimate: Cloud Version on Switch Offers First Instance of Ray Tracing on Console at 30fps

505 Games announced that the Remedy-developed action-adventure Control Ultimate: Cloud Version is available now on Nintendo Switch.

Control Ultimate: Cloud Version includes the original base game and both expansion packs, Foundation, and AWE.

“This is the first time ever that a Remedy game is playable on a Nintendo console! We couldn’t be happier that Nintendo Switch owners get to experience Control Ultimate Edition through the Cloud and join Jesse on her journey to becoming the Federal Bureau of Control Director. We hope players enjoy discovering secrets and putting Jesse’s telekinetic powers to use in the weird, supernatural world we’ve created,” said Remedy’s Communications Director, Thomas Puha.

Control Ultimate: Cloud Version utilizes online capabilities to enable better graphics on the Switch. Players can play through Control with Enhanced Graphics mode at 30fps with ray tracing on or Enhanced Performance mode at 60fps with ray tracing turned off; this also allows a seamless transition between TV and handheld mode. Currently, this is the only version of Control on console that offers Ray Tracing.

Control follows Jess Faden as she travels down the rabbit hole of a place known as the Federal Bureau of Control. It’s supernatural themes push the adventure narrative to new heights of storytelling for a unique experience.
