Control Shows Supernatural Gameplay and Story in Launch Trailer

505 Games released the launch trailer for the Remedy developed action-adventure game Control, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via the Epic Games store on August 27.

Yes, its a week before release, but it seems Remedy doesn’t have control when it comes sharing new gameplay from their upcoming titles. The trailer introduces players to Jesse Faden, the new director of a secret agency in New York. However, throughout the game, her world seems to drift into insanity.

To celebrate the launch, publisher 505 Games will host a live stream on August 27 from 8 am to 4 pm PT to raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Players will be able to check out the game and donate to a good cause.

Control puts players in the role of Jesse Faden, a secret agent who must fight an otherworldly threat after being invaded. The game features sandbox-style elements that allow the player to take on enemies in various ways. In a fight, players will be able to use a combination of supernatural ability, modify their loadouts, and journey through reactive environments.

Those who do pick up the game through pre-order will receive The Tactical Response Gear outfit for Jesse and a Crafting Resources Pack. Additionally, purchasing the game on PS4 will give you a Rare Service Weapon and an Astral Dive suit for Jesses along with two themes for the console.
