Control Reveals ‘The Foundation’ Gameplay in New Trailer With Release Date and Details

505 Games revealed the first DLC gameplay for the Remedy-developed action-adventure Control, coming to PlayStation 4 and PC-via The Epic Games Store on March 26 and Xbox One on June 25.

Titled “The Foundation,” players will discover a new story, side missions, abilities, and enemies as the Hiss presents a new threat to the world. Jesse has been alerted by the Board that there has been a “situation” in the Foundation, the bedrock of the Oldest House. A structure known as the Monolith has been damaged, which has caused the Astral Plane to leak into the Foundation. Jesses must find a way to stop it before it consumes the entire Oldest House and the Bureau.

Players who purchased the Digital Deluxe version of Control on PS4 will receive The Foundation on launch. The DLC can also be picked up through the Season Pass for $24.99 or on its own for $14.99.

Control puts players in the role of Jesse Faden, a secret agent who must fight an otherworldly threat after being invaded. The game features sandbox-style elements that allow the player to take on enemies in various ways. In a fight, players will be able to use a combination of supernatural ability, modify their loadouts, and journey through reactive environments.

Those who do pick up the game through pre-order will receive The Tactical Response Gear outfit for Jesse and a Crafting Resources Pack. Additionally, purchasing the game on PS4 will give you a Rare Service Weapon and an Astral Dive suit for Jesses along with two themes for the console.
