505 Games announced during GDC that they plan to release their upcoming titles Control and Journey to the Savage Planet on PC as Epic Games store for 12 months following their release.
This digital-distribution partnership for the PC versions of these two titles will be sold exclusively on Epic Games store, which isn’t totally uncommon to here considering publishers like Deep Silver are also preferring to release their PC titles on the new digital storefront.
Developed by Remedy Entertainment, Control is set in an ever-changing world where players assume the role of Jesse Faden who is equipped with a Service Weapon that can change into a variety of different forms to address any combat situation. Furthermore, Jesse also has the ability to control enemies in order to get through portions of the game. Control is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Epic Game store in late summer 2019.
Developed by Yassine Riahi and Reid Schneider’s Typhoon Studios, Journey to the Savage Planet is an upbeat first-person adventure game set in an alien world that is filled with strange and interesting creatures. During the game, players are tasked with exploring and cataloging alien flora and fauna and determining if the planet is fit for human habitation. Journey to the Savage Planet is launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Epic Game store.
