Control Gets Trailer Outlining Free March Update; Includes Map Readability Improvements

505 Games released a new trailer for the free update coming to the Remedy-developed action-adventure Control, on March 26.

The update adds in a number of quality-of-life improvements including map readability, Nvidia DLSS 2.0 for RTX Users, and revised ability tree and points reallocation feature. The update will be available across all platforms.

Along with the update comes the DLC story campaign “The Foundation,” heading to PlayStation 4 and PC-via The Epic Games Store on March 26 and Xbox One on June 25.

The Foundation allows players to discover a new story, side missions, abilities, and enemies as the Hiss presents a new threat to the world. Jesse has been alerted by the Board that there has been a “situation” in the Foundation, the bedrock of the Oldest House. A structure known as the Monolith has been damaged, which has caused the Astral Plane to leak into the Foundation. Jesses must find a way to stop it before it consumes the entire Oldest House and the Bureau.

Players who purchased the Digital Deluxe version of Control on PS4 will receive The Foundation on launch. The DLC can also be picked up through the Season Pass for $24.99 or on its own for $14.99.
