Developer Hamster has announced that Console Archives: Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure will launch on July 9 for PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 for $14.99.
Developed by Nippon Ichi Software, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure debuted in 1998 on the original PlayStation. It follows Cornet, a girl with the ability to communicate with puppets, as she sets out to rescue a kidnapped prince. She recruits puppet companions to fight alongside her amidst musical performances.
The release is part of Hamster’s Console Archives line, which brings classic console games to modern platforms with updated conveniences.
This version includes customizable button mapping, rapid-fire options, multiple save states, and, for supported titles, a rewind feature. Players can also adjust screen layouts and apply CRT-style display filters.
