Conan Exiles Gets Jewel of the West DLC Shown in New Trailer

Funcom released new DLC for their adventure survival title Conan Exiles, avaibale now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Titled “Jewel of the West Pack”, this new DLC will bring Aquilonia-themed building pieces, armors, weapons, and decorations to the game. Evidently, this DLC aligns with Conan lore when Aquilonia is the center of the civilized world. This DLC will allow players to experience this perid of time as they build homes of grand style to their content.

The DLC is available now for players across platforms for $9.99. However, not all of the DLC is going to come at a cost, the team is currently working on a large free update with more information coming soon.

Creative Director Joel Bylos says, “The team is currently working hard on finalizing a massive free update that we’re aiming to launch in September. This update will introduce pets and taming, an entirely new gameplay feature. We’re also adding a new dungeon, a new religion, a new avatar, and more. This update will be free for all players on all three platforms.”

Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game where players will explore the lands of Conan the Barbarian. The game originally released in Early Access on Steam in 2017 and was brought to console and PC with its full release in May of 2018.

Author’s take: I’ve never play Conan Exiles, but I’ve spoken with the developers before and have followed the game’s development since it launched in early access. Although playing this game might not be of interest to me, it sure is fun to watch more capable players work through. With future support for the game play, we will be seeing more of Conan Exiles soon.
