Publisher Level Infinite and developer NExT Studios have announced that their companion-based looter shooter SYNCED will release for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in the Summer of 2023.
Additionally, the title will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, though a release date has not been provided.
SYNCED is toted as a “companion-based shooter.” The title is set in the future, where players must fight with Nano companions against enemies. These companions have different classes and a range of abilities. In addition, players can upgrade their weapons.
Features of SYNCED include customization of the Nano companions, where players will modify their loadout to defeat enemies. Further, players can team up in three squads to take down enemies together and use the environment to their advantage in a fight. The game also features a story that players will uncover by completing missions. Progress through matches to meet more survivors and reveal new information. Unravel the wires that bind techno-optimism and corruption to the downfall of society as we know it.
Implemented player feedback includes the following:
Solo Mode – for those Runners who want to face the Meridian alone (save for their Nano Companions) Increased influence of Nanos – a greater range of Nano mods now provides access to more skills, abilities and tactics on the battlefield New Traversal Modes – used well, speed dash, increased jump ability and a hover-board can give players a real advantage in the heat of the action
