Comedic Visual Novel ‘Lamunation’ Introduces Characters in New English Trailer

Love Lab launched the second opening movie for the White Powder developed comedy visual novel, Lamunation! – International-, coming to PC-via Steam in Q2 2019.

Lamunation! – International- tells the story of Luna Akahoshi who evidently hangs out in his jacuzzi with his Rubber Duckie, the “real protagonist” of the story. The story is zany and comedic featuring, the publisher words, “Carbonated drinks. Exotic sportscars. Lovely ladies. A retro ’80s-style soundtrack infused with modern EDM bops. A rubber duckie. And over 9000* memes.”

The game’s heroines are:

• Lamune Aoumi – The cool, kind childhood friend
• Corona Akahoshi – The finest sister ever.
• Iris Prateado – Too cute. Too crazy.
• Rayle Prateado – Domo arigato Ms. Perfect.

Translating and localizing memes isn’t the easiest thing to do, but the developer seems confident in their work given that they reiterate several times how many memes Lamunation! – International- will have. Additionally, the game will feature Japanese, Chinese, English text making it a truly international version.

The Steam version will include the All-Ages version of the game, but a free patch will be available containing the adult content for players who wish to get a little close to the game’s heroines.
