Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend Available Now on iOS and Android

Square Enix announced that their retro-RPG Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend is available now on iOS and Android devices. with the Steam release still scheduled for October 21, 2021.

This collection of games contains three titles, The Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Legend II, and Final Fantasy Legend III. Each game was created by Akitoshi Kawazu and initially released on Game Boy beginning in 1989. The SaGa series used the Final Fantasy Legend title in hopes of being more popular in the west.

This new version of the game will similar to the Switch release with the added screen customization options. Further, players can adjust the speed of the game to get through battles and world exploration quicker.

Additionally, players will find a special anniversary song, 8 different in-game wallpapers, and the option to play using Japanese or English text. Given that the game was released on the Game Boy players can also detach the Joy-Con and hold the screen vertically to take advantage of the touch screen buttons to replicate the retro handheld.
