Otome Visual Novel ‘Collar X Malice -Unlimited-‘ Gets New Details for Western Release

During the New Game+ Expo, Aksys Games revealed the Idea Factory-developed Otome visual novel Collar X Malice -Unlimited- will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch in August 2020.

Collar X Malice -Unlimited- is a fandisc that accompanies the Collar X Malice. The game includes an Interlude, After Story, and Adonis mode.

During Collar X Malice -Unlimited-, players will revisit some of the events of the original game. Still, this time, you’ll be able to build new relationships while picking up the pieces following the aftermath of the first X-Day Incident. Then, players will gain access to an entirely new crime to investigate as they get to search for a traitor within the Adonis organization. Players will need to race against time to complete each step before the next X-Day.

This is the first time that this game will be available outside of Japan. It’s highly advised that you play the first title before playing the fandisc, you won’t be disappointed.

Collar X Malice is a mystery visual novel that follows the main protagonist Ichika Hoshino, a cop who is out on patrol through the streets of Shinjuku, Tokyo. On this particular night, she is attacked and comes to find out that a strange color has been placed around her neck. Evidently, this is tied to a case that several former police offers have been investigating, and they all seem to be beautiful men. Throughout the story, Ichika must learn more about the collar and how to remove it without setting off the poison that resides within it, which could end her life.
