Code Vein Reveals 2020 DLC Adding New Bosses and Weapons; Free Update Coming in December
Bandai Namco announced that their dungeon-crawling RPG Code Vein will receive additional post-launch support in 2020.
The publisher revealed plans to roll out three new DLC packs in early 2020 to contain “new bosses, weapons, blood codes, and more.” However, the company didn’t reveal much information about the DLC other than that, but they will be part of the game’s Season Pass.
Additionally, players will receive a free update in December that allows players access to new Christmas-themed cosmetics and new emotes to use during gameplay.
Code Vein is an action-adventure game where players will be able to craft their weapons and customize their experience by fine-tuning their character’s playstyle during the game’s dark and gritty narrative. Players will assume the role of a revenant who is in search of a cure for the desire of blood beads, a rare source of energy for revenant in this demon-filled world. However, every mission puts that at risk of becoming a member of the lost, or even dead. The game focuses on skill-based combat where players will probably die multiple times.
