Annapurna Puzzle Platformer ‘COCOON’ Now Available on PC + Consoles; By INSIDE & LIMBO Lead Game Designer

Annapurna Interactive has announced that the Geometric Interactive-developed puzzle platforming adventure COCOON is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Game Pass, and PC via Steam.

This title boasts the efforts of Jeppe Carlsen, the lead game designer of LIMBO and INSIDE, featuring a world-leaping mechanic. This unique adventure has worlds contained within orbs that are carried on the player character’s back. You must “combine, manipulate, and rearrange them to solve intricate puzzles.” These same orbs also became movement tools with their own abilities, instilling further distinction within their practicalities.

Throughout the game, players will discover “alien environments and biomechanical devices left behind by an ancient civilization,” offering diverse settings for one to explore and figure out the interconnectedness of.

Moreover, there are battles against world guardians that are all unique, requiring players to thoroughly understand the capabilities of what resides within their toolkits, particularly the orb abilities.
