During Publisher Koei Tecmo’s and Developer Gust’s Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy and Surge Concerto DX official live stream, a brand new trailer for the upcoming Ciel nosurge: Requiem for a Lost Star DX and Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star DX premiered.

You can watch the trailer for Ciel nosurge: Requiem for a Lost Star DX and Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star DX below:

Ciel nosurge: Requiem for a Lost Star DX is a remastered version of the original Ciel nosruge that released exclusively in Japan on the PlayStation Vita on April 26, 2012. This title acts as a prequel to the Ar Tonelico franchise, and has never received a western localization to this day.

Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star DX is a remastered version of Ar nosurge which released on the PlayStation 3. This title is a continuation of the events in Ciel no surge. Unlike Ciel nosurge however, this title did receive a western localization on September 23, 2014, a mere six months after the title’s initial March 6, 2014 release in Japan.

Ar nosurge received a PlayStation Vita port in Japan on October 2, 2014 called Ar nosurge Plus. This release added more content such as more costumes, touch screen compatibility for certain events and all DLC from the PlayStation 3 version. This version also received a western localization which released on July 1, 2015.

Ciel nosurge: Requiem for a Lost Star DX and Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star DX are scheduled for a January 28, 2021 release for PlayStation 4, Steam and Nintendo Switch exclusively in Japan.
