Fruitbat Factory announced that the Studio Beast-developed comedic visual novel, Chuusotsu! 1.5th Graduation: The Moving Castle, will launch on PC-via Steam on January 17.
Being a side story of 2018’s Chuusotsu! 1st Graduation: Time After Time, Chuusotsu! 1.5th Graduation follows Arue and her gang of friends as they visit a doujin event in the Big Site. The story also focuses on her struggles as an aspiring manga creator. This game picks up directly after the events of Chuusotsu! 1st Graduation so it’s recommended that players play through that story first.
Chuusotsu! 1st Graduation tells the story of a trio of girls who end up living together after they are determined failures to society through a ranked program. Not satisfied with that outcome, they each enter a government relief program to acquire a higher rank. The story pretty much puts a spotlight on their lives and through some zany scenarios shines a nicely delivered and impactful story.
While the game is for all ages, the developer does highlight some mature content being, “revealing outfits and sexual innuendo and adult themes in text format.”
The publisher also released new screenshots showing the game to give players a preview of the characters and their doujin adventure.
