ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard Launches February 12, 2026 for PC, Consoles

Pixel Maniacs and PM Studios have officially announced the global launch of their puzzle shooter ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard for February 12, 2026, for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Digital and retail editions will be available, with retail pre-orders now open.

Building on the core mechanics of the original ChromaGun, the sequel requires navigating rooms using the color-mixing ChromaGun. By shooting primary colors onto walls and objects, players can manipulate the environment, solve intricate logic puzzles, and neutralize aggressive drones.

The story digs deeper into the origins of Chroma Technology and the corporation that created it, with a narrative that spans across alternate dimensions. ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard introduces a dedicated accessibility mode for color blind players, overlaying symbols on colored elements.

Michael Yum, CEO of PM Studios, said the following:

ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard expands the creative spectrum of our portfolio with a bold, brainy experience that stands apart from anything else we’ve launched.

We’re proud to offer a retail edition for a game this inventive – it’s something every fan of clever design should want to have as part of their physical collection.

Benjamin Lochmann, Founder and CEO of Pixel Maniacs, said the following:

We’ve taken everything the fans loved about the original – the witty dialogue, the fiendishly clever puzzles, and the saturated aesthetic – and dialed it up to 11.

Dye Hard is bigger, bolder, and requires a level of color coordination and spatial reasoning that will test even the most seasoned puzzle enthusiasts. The team is eager to watch the most insane full game speedruns from the community!
