Chorus Revealed as Narrative-Driven Space-Combat Shooter in New Gameplay Trailer

Deep Silver announced they will publish the Fishlabs-developed space-combat shooter, Chorus, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021.

The publisher also revealed a new gameplay trailer that introduces us to Nara, an ace pilot who is trying to escape from the past, and her sentient ship, Forsaken. They are out for a quest of redemption that will lead them across the galaxy in hopes of the unit a resistance against an evil group known as the Circle and their leader, the Great Prophet.

During gameplay, players will be able to explore space and various hubs as well as get into some zero-g dogfights. Through the game, players will need to rely on these weapons and upgrades. The ship has a unique drift mechanic as well as extra-sensory perception, teleportation, and telekinesis to take on whatever enemy they encountered. Players can even chain their powers together to become more powerful.

The trailer shows the game running on next-gen hardware and gives players a look at the Nara in an emotional state as she approaches Forsaken. The game definitely knows how to create a dark atmosphere and that’s about when it shows you the space fights, which look stylish and fast.

We are definitely looking forward to learning more about Chorus.
