Romance Visual Novel ‘Chihiro Himukai Always Walks Away’ Releases in the West on PC; Steam Release Coming Next Week

Shiravune announced they have released the Smile-developed romance visual novel Chihiro Himukai Always Walks Away on PC-via Johren in the west. A Steam release is planned for a July 27, 2021 release.

Chihiro Himukai Always Walks Away is labeled as a “sex-first” reunion romance where a girl named Chihiro Himukai has trouble landing a job and keeping it. It comes down to her sense of responsibility that causes it as she is too where and others around her are too cold. This causes rifts between her and her coworkers.

After graduating high school, she’s been in and out of jobs and has quit every single one. On her twelfth attempt, she’s on the verge of leaving again, but a chance encounter with an old classmate brings the change she hopes for.

The Johren version of the game features adult scenes between characters, where the Steam release will be feature all-ages scenes. However, a free patch will be available for Steam users to add the content back into the game. Through gameplay, players will get closer to Himukai throughout the story after a few dates where they learn more about her situation and do their best to help out.
