Charming Retro-Inspired Adventure ‘Arietta of Spirits’ Receives August Release Date for PC and Consoles; Demo Releasing Next Week

Publisher Red Art Games and developer Third Spirit Games have announced that their adventure title, Arietta of Spirits, will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC later this month.

Throughout this adventure, players witness protagonist Arietta and her family visiting her late grandmother’s cabin a year after she passed away. However, following a series of unexpected events from a new friend, Arietta gains the ability to see spirits around the island.

Several areas with numerous secrets await players to explore, such as forests and caverns, with a retro-style presentation enhancing the charm tenfold. Arietta of Spirits boasts approachability to any crowd regardless of their background with the genre and its diverse array of mechanics.

Physical units of the game can be pre-ordered on the official Red Art Game website, which includes special bonuses depending on the chosen edition.

The game will also be receiving a demo on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Microsoft Store from August 13 onward. Further, there will be a 10% discount for pre-ordering the title on the Microsoft Store and Nintendo Switch from August 13 to August 19.
