Wayforward Brings Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche to Nintendo Switch

Wayforward announced that their April Fool’s Joke is making a return with the release of Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche on Nintendo Switch-via the eShop for $7.99.

Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche was originally announced in 2013 as an April Fool’s Joke released on PC, well, now it’s on Nintendo Switch. The game is a side-scrolling 2D shoot ’em up with weapon power-ups across various levels. The game also takes inspiration from puzzle, sports, platformer, rhythm, and RPG genres, so it’s fun for every type of gamer.

Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche follows Kebako, a cat-eared bounty hunter, accompanied by her companion, Squiddie. She spends most of her time flying and blasting her way through waves of enemies. The game fully voiced and features a story across each level. Additionally, there are also boss battles against intergalactic criminals such as s pyromaniac rockstar Gunnar Crossbones, insane cook Chefinoff, and vengeful Uramiko (AKA Cat Grill).

Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche is available now on PC and Nintendo Switch.

The developer also released a new trailer showing the game running on Switch. The trailer also introduces players to the characters and shows a bit of the gameplay.
