Castlevania: Nocturne Animated Series Reveals Sneak Peek of Maria Renard

Ahead of Christmas, the Director and Co-Director of the Castlevania Netflix animated series, Samuel Deats and Adam Deats, have shared a sneak peek at the upcoming Castlevania: Nocturne, showing a brief clip of Maria Renard. In the games, she originated in Rondo of Blood, though she also appeared in Symphony of the Night.

For those who missed it, Castlevania: Nocturne is set to be a sequel to the prior Castlevania Netflix series, which comprised Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse and Curse of Darkness. Produced by Project 51 Productions and led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley, this new series will depict Richter Belmont in Symphony of Night and Rondo of Blood. So with that being the case, it makes sense that Maria would debut here.

The latest Castlevania video game release is Castlevania Advance Collection. This package includes Castlevania: Circle of the MoonCastlevania: Harmony of DissonanceCastlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and Castlevania: Dracula X. All regional versions of the titles are available to select and play through, and a gallery mode is also available.

The developer of the collection is M2. The company is known for working on many projects emulating older titles, having also worked on the Virtual Console and Sega Ages re-releases. In addition, they’ve also worked on the Castlevania Anniversary Collection and Contra Anniversary Collection.

Castlevania Advance Collection is available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Nintendo Switch.
