Castlevania and Metal Gear Rising Trademarked by Konami in Japan

Konami has recently filed trademarks for Castlevania (known as Akumajou Dracula in Japan) and Metal Gear Rising and in Japan. These trademarks were initially filed on April 6, though they have only been made viewable to the public today.

There has been no news on any future Castlevania entries from the developer and publisher, nor Metal Gear Rising. Perhaps some news regarding these two properties will be announced shortly, no matter how slight it may be. Either way, it is always best not to expect anything, given how silent these properties have been in recent years.
