Reverse Horror Adventure ‘Carrion’ Gets July Release Date, With Demo Available Now
Devolver Digital announced that the My Phobia Studio reverse horror adventure Carrion will launch on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam release on July 23.
With the announcement, the publisher released a new trailer that gives plays a look at the gameplay as well as some of the horror elements. The environments are meant to strike a bit of fear since you are essentially playing as the bad guy.
Additionally, the publisher revealed that a free demo is available now on Steam. The demo gives players a chance to play through an early section of the game and get a taste for blood before the full release.
In Carrion, players assume the role of the aforementioned creatures. Players will need to stalk and consume those humans who imprisoned you as they slide around the environments and instill terror and fear into everything around them. As the game progresses, the creature will become larger and gain various new abilities that they can use to their advantage. True, there are things out there that can hurt this creature, but you are definitely the stronger entity here. Carrion was first revealed at E3 2019 and has since caught the attention of indie fans.
