Capcom Showcase Emphasizes Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s Presence & Reiterates Focus on Previously Announced Titles
Capcom has announced that their upcoming Showcase planned for June 13, 2022, at 3 PM PT/ 6 PM ET, will house reveals for the highly awaited Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto will be providing intricate gameplay details for the title.
Further, Capcom has reiterated that this showcase will “bring you news and in-depth updates for your favorite previously announced Capcom titles.” So, simply put, don’t go into this showcase expecting multiple major reveals, if any. Try to temper expectations. Ace Attorney 7 or ports probably won’t be happening, alas…
Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry of the action-RPG series, where players are tasked with taking on some of the most powerful monsters around. The game is set in the Kamura Village, home to many warriors who have developed unique and innovative hunting technologies. One of which is a special insect called a Wirebug. This allows players to grapple themselves in any direction, making it possible to scale cliffs and structures.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will introduce new monsters, locations, and hunting gameplay, similar in scope to Monster Hunter World’s Iceborne expansion, which added a considerable amount of content to the base game. It is releasing for PC and Nintendo Switch on June 30, 2022.
